Exhale
Restorative Massage
A slower, relaxing and body-melting massage designed to help your body release tension and settle.
When your body needs a slower kind of care
EXHALE is a restorative massage for the times your body feels tired, tense, overloaded, or stretched thin.
This treatment is less targeted than remedial massage and more focused on helping the body soften, settle and unwind. The pace is slower, the pressure is adapted to your comfort, and the session is shaped around where your body is holding the most tension on the day.
Rather than chasing a specific pain point, EXHALE creates space for your nervous system to settle while easing accumulated muscular tension through areas such as the back, shoulders, neck, hips, legs or arms.
In a 60 or 75 minute session, treatment usually focuses on the areas that need the most support. A 90 minute session allows time for a more complete full-body treatment at a slower, more spacious pace.
Some of the reasons people seek this work include...
Your body feels run down, tired, or overwhelmed.
You are carrying general tension through the back, shoulders, neck, hips, legs, or arms.
You want a slower treatment that is less clinical than remedial massage.
You are moving through a stressful or demanding season.
You want to feel more settled in your body.
You need care that does not require deep pressure or focused remedial work.
You want regular body care to support rest, stress relief and general wellbeing.
EXHALE is suitable for clients wanting a slower, more restorative massage with a calm, steady pace.
This treatment is ideal when you are feeling depleted, stressed, overwhelmed, physically tired, or in need of body care that feels supportive without being overly targeted.
It may be a good fit if you want to ease general muscular tension, feel more settled, or give your body time to reset.
If you are experiencing specific pain, injury, restriction, or a concern that needs assessment, RESTORE Remedial Massage may be a better place to start.
Who is this treatment for?
What to expect
-
Your session begins with a brief check-in.
You will be asked how your body is feeling, where you are holding tension, and what kind of support you need on the day.
This helps shape the session so the treatment feels responsive, comfortable and useful.
-
EXHALE uses slow, flowing massage techniques to support muscular relaxation and nervous system settling.
Your therapist will focus on the areas holding the most tension on the day. This may include the back, shoulders, neck, hips, legs, arms, hands or feet, depending on your session length and what your body needs.
Pressure is adapted to your comfort. The focus is not deep remedial work, but slow, steady treatment that allows the body time to soften.
A 90 minute session allows for the most complete full-body experience.
-
After treatment, you may feel calmer, lighter, looser, or more rested.
Some people feel sleepy after this treatment, while others feel clearer and more settled. There is no right response.
If possible, allow a little space after your appointment before rushing back into the rest of your day.
